This reel is a mix of the worlds I’ve built—two narrative short films I wrote, produced, and directed—and a freelance project that fuses documentary storytelling with dance and music-video rhythm. I’m Jesse Jacobson—a queer writer, director, actor, and producer based in Salt Lake City. I’ve loved movies for as long as I can remember, and that passion has grown into a drive to create work that feels honest, layered, and human. I’m drawn to stories that explore identity, relationships, and the nuances of lived experience, especially within my own community. As I continue building my career, I’m committed to telling thoughtful, character-driven stories and collaborating with artists who want to push the medium forward.
